Are you ready for a brand new beat?

Do you realize that I’ve been naming my blog posts with snippets of songs for more than two years now??
Holy crap.
Speaking of things musical …
When I was in the process of cleaning things up here, I went and paid a visit to (I want to say “my good friend” except it’s been so long since he’s heard from me that he probably doesn’t remember who I am) Solonor and came across this infinitely cool song/vid:
Blown away, indeed.
It’s so nice to have you back where you belong

Notice anything different?
Yes, we’re sporting a new look. I took my courage into my hands and upgraded to the very, very, very latest version of WordPress (at least, until tomorrow, when I’m positive the geekful little farts will release 2.7.1 or something).
And, while I was at it, I thought I’d give this blog a less business-like look. That’s the mood I was in but I’m not in that mood anymore.
Tough. It’s my blog. Suck up and deal with it.
While at it, I’ve done some blogroll weeding, duly saddened by folks for whom I have long since fallen off the end of the world, who have themselves fallen off the end of my world.
Ah well. It’s probably no biggie. I have very little doubt that everybody’s over at twitter by now.
I am, by the way. Yes, that’s right, for once I was not the very last one to get into the Next Big Thing. Hey, even Gina didn’t know about it until I turned her on to it.
Makes me feel not quite so old.
So, yeah. If you want to follow me, you can. Just be warned. I’m wearing my uber-knowledgeable, expert businesswoman hat over there, so I’m not anywhere near as much fun. You might get bored.
Just so you know.
So, enjoy the new furniture. I’m going to finish dusting but I’ll be around if the cyber elves do anything rude …
Do that to me one more time

I went and got myself a new Daemon, after some helpful soul came along (after my Daemon should have been set, too) and changed me from a cat into a spider (ew).
As it turns out, I like this guy’s name better.
And this one is graven in granite. Nobody gets to change him!
Yeah, I’m a nut. What’s it to you?
