Excuse me while I breathe

That was the last time I updated this blog. Oy.

Okay, I’m about to do some things here.

For starters, WordPress just released a new version (2.2) about five days ago. This blog uses version 1.5. It’s time to upgrade.

Of course, the theme I’m using does not work with version 2.2, so I’m going to have to find a new one. That means this place is going to be wearing a very different look. More than that, I can’t say right this minute.

The upshot being that, if the place goes dark for a bit, don’t be alarmed. I’m geeking when I really ought to be writing (I do have a newsletter to get out today). I’ll return you to your regularly scheduled blog just as soon as I done.

And the blog will be wearing a new dress.

    I’ll work on it next week, sweetie … although we don’t know if your theme will work with the upgrade. You may have to pick a different one.

    (Oh, hey … isn’t that interesting … all of a sudden, this page is displaying okay! Hope it lasts … )

    Um, it’s about fucking time. I’ve only visited every other day for the last 3 months. I know you’d never been to Spain and now you have. Something new please. ;)
