Kimmie: Mom, can I make myself some chocolate milk?
Me: Why don’t you wait and have chocolate milk with your dinner?
Kimmie: But I’m thirsty now.
Me: If you’re thirsty, drink water.
Kimmie: I’m too lazy to drink water.
Me [after a moment of stunned silence]: Too lazy to drink water??? Holy cow!
Kimmie [laughing]: Shut up.
