Lord, I’m tired!
I’ve been quiet. I’m going to stay quiet for a few more days. Younglings are due to emerge from school in staggered fashion, with David finishing his school year today, Gina finishing with regular classes on Tuesday (but with a few Regents exams to take), and Ricky doing that end-of-school-year-goofing-off stuff they do until the 22nd.
I’m still fighting with the schools about Kimmie, of course. They don’t know what to do with her and what they want to do with her has nothing to do with what she actually needs — mostly because they have no clue as to what she does need.
I know what she needs … but I have to prove it. That’s because schools don’t seem to think parents know what they’re talking about. After all, they’re the professionals. I’m just a lousy parent.
Anyway, I didn’t come in here to whine. I wanted to let you know that there’s a slight possibility that this site will go dark for a minute or three. I’m in the process of a web server move and I’m unclear on whether or not I’ll get this place moved into its new digs and functional before the DNS propagates.
I’m moving a dozen sites at once. Wish me luck.

I have a good idea what you mean about arguing with these “professionals”. Going through that for one child and I suspect they’re doing it to get more money from the state. Hey they’ve been “professionals” for a few years and we’ve only been parents for decades… what do we know about our kids, right?
Oh and HOORAY for “end-of-school-year-goofing-off stuff”.

for some reason, that reminds me of my sister, trying to tell me how to care for my oldest after he was born and she had no kids yet….but she had a ‘degree’ in early childhood development, and thought that made her an expert *insert rolling eyes here*
good luck with the move…are you just moving to a new server or a new host? (I can happily say, I’m glad mines over with! LOL )

New host … I need to cut my costs and I found a great deal with lots and lots of server space for very little money. AND I can host all thirteen domains I have instead of using redirects. I have happy.
