Bear with me folks. I’m pretty much fed up to my eyebrows with all the trackback spam and the comment spam, so I’m switching platforms. I was going to do this later, but I’ve been getting hammered, bombarded, call it what you like. I have better things to do with my time than delete trackback spam, so … there you have it.

Now that I’ve diddled around with this program and my control panel and figured out how to have WP create all the database tables it needs to without wiping out existing tables, I’m making the jump.

Yay!

I’ll work on importing all my previous archives over the course of the day.

(Have you ever noticed that I always seem to launch these geek projects at around this time of year?)

I’m testing the comments and the security feature here that prevents comment spam (yay!). I’m really loving this platform. Figuring out how to get the database up and running to let me do this without wiping out my other WP blogs was a piece of cake, once I did a minute’s research and right now, I’m painfully learning to edit php files.
