Give me a reason to believe that you’re gone

Gino is in the hospital tonight.
We thought at first that he was having a mild heart attack but the tests show that isn’t the case. Now, the doctors are thinking the problem is with his lungs, maybe some kind of infection. He was haing trouble breathing and was in a lot of pain when Gina and I arrived at Fox Hospital’s emergency room and were allowed to see him. But they gave him something for it (finally!) and he was much more cheerful and more comfortable by the time we left.
We’re hoping they’ll find out what the problem is, give him a prescription of some kind of medication to take and let us bring him home for Thanksgiving. That would truly give us all something to be thankful for.
I’m tired. I’m just … tired.
