Why can’t we be friends?
By Me | November 9, 2005
Well, evidently because it’s just really hard to do if you’re a Turning Teen.
I haven’t been writing much about them but that doesn’t mean they haven’t been spinning like tops, bless their little hearts. There’s a lot that’s going on away from prying public eyes (in part because they found the glare of the soap opera spotlight to be just too much for their sensitive little souls) and, while I do know some of it, I’m not going to write about too much of it since what I’ve heard has been top secret confidential.
Scooter Libby I’m not.
What I can tell you is that some things of significance hadn’t changed at all from last May/June, in spite of the very major drama that happened back then. Again, lots of action behind the scenes, in ephemeral, non-linkable forms (via AIM and what not).
Then again, there has also been a couple of recent blow-ups, though, that became totally public when Gina blew a gasket on her blog.
So much for top secret behind closed doors moving and shaking.
And, as difficult as it is for me to chew on my tongue, I’m not going to comment right now. There are those who don’t know much but feel free to talk. There are those who know more but also know better.
And I’m very proud of my Gina. Not only is she a good kid, she’s a smart one, too.

My poor Gina! The drama of teenhood! This is why I didn’t start “seeing” anybody ’til my senior year or have a boyfriend until freshman year in college.
Hugs and sympathy all the way around–for my birthday twin and for her daughter.
