Dawn Is Me

Talked to David this evening. He sounds sooo much better! He sounds cheerful and really alert and … alive!!! He hasn’t sounded like that in years. We didn’t hear from the doctor today but if what he sounds like on the phone is any indication, he may be home sooner than I had dared to hope. I’ll be heading back over there to see him again tomorrow.

Yay!

I’m almost afraid of being too optimistic but … what a relief!

Now I need to go find a corner and cry for three days. Then, maybe, I’ll be able to finally relax.
