Decent game today

Watched Gina’s soccer game today. Not a bad performance, at least as far as Gina was concerned. You can tell when her team gets tired, though, because they start just standing there watching where the ball goes instead of chasing it down. Like they don’t want to waste energy chasing after it and they’ll play it when it comes to them. Once again, Gina was fairly dancing with frustration.
She had some very, very nice moments toward the end of the game and would have made a goal if one of her teammates hadn’t gotten in her way. Then he missed the goal by something like inches. Grrrr. Steve had some good plays, too … they took him off defense and he looked much more comfortable out there.
My favorite moment of the game was Gina fielding the ball with a very nice (and quite audible) boob ball. You go, girl!
I’m back to work on the sequel to Rise of The Phoenix, I’m happy to say. It’s making me a little airheaded, though; I dive into this world I created, into this person’s head that I’m writing about, and then I have a hard time coming back to reality. It’s going well, though … much better than when I try to write in response to pressure rather than writing when I’m ready to write.
Tomorrow morning, though, I’m going to have to put the nose to the grindstone. I need to get the Journal written and then get things in order so I can hie me down to D.C. with D1 in tow. I’m jazzed about this trip; it’ll be fun.
And Kimmie really likes her hair cut. Yay! I got something right!
It doesn’t take much to make me happy.

Yeah, Gina did really good. And I like defense the most but it’s really fustrating missing the ball go by me. Thanx for the compiment though!
