The sound and the fury
By Me | April 29, 2005
The Turning Teens evidently got bored with crying. Now, everybody is angry.
GinaBug is bug-eyed with pissed-offity, while Andy has red, red rage.
Steve is laying down laws and promising that nobody will like him by the time he finishes with the self-inflicted makeover.
And Kasedy is silent — but only because she and Gina are fighting, so she hasn’t been over here to update her blog today.
Lordy!
Please stay tuned for a word from our sponsor:
Generally speaking, if somebody is yowling in fury about something, and you can’t figure out what they’re talking about, that probably means they’re not talking about you. And that means there’s probably no reason for you to get all mad back and add to the confusion.
And now, back to our program
Nobody’s dead yet, but it’s only a matter of time. Of course, if anybody gets killed, we’ll find them in the shower at the beginning of next season. (The Turning Teens are too young to understand that one, but Mercenary D and Hubby aren’t. -wink-)
Things are getting messy but how messy will they get? Will Andy and Steve punch each other out? Will Gina and Kasedy get involved in hair pulling? Will Gina punch out Steve’s hair while Kasedy pulls Andy’s punches?
Tune in next time, for another exciting episode of As The Teen Turns.

Yeah, I know what I said. I ain’t like what I was before. I figured that I don’t want “that” kind of attention. Yeah there’s a lot of anger but I think Between Andy and me it’s cooled off quite a bit. Not sure but it’s what I think. And about Kasedy and Gina, I have no idea what’s going on but I know that I’m not gonna get involved, I’d like to keep my sack. Seriously, if I tried to get them better, I think they’d try to hurt me and my future kids, girls scare me most of the time… is that bad? Well, I hope things get better personally, but I still like the whole idea of “drop it and get over it” thing that you said awhile back. I took it up lately.

I think I speak for everyone when I do a freaking heavy sigh and say “Ya know…”

Don’t feel too bad, Steve. I know men over 30 who still think females are scary (and, of course, all fathers of teenaged girls are terrified).
Andy … you’re starting to sound like Gina! I will say that I think you’re right. She was much happier when the two of you were hanging out, before all this soap opera stuff got injected into the universe.
I’m not going to interfere. But I am allowed to play Howard Cosell and provide running commentary. ;-D

Just think! NO COMMERCIAL INTERUPTIONS!!!
This is better than the Truman Show!!!
(Yes, fathers ARE scared of teenage girls, especially when they drive Dad’s “really hot” car…)

Yea Dad…
I love you too.
And I can drive better than you. hmph!
